open Personal Folders in a new window that is maximized not minimi

When I open any outlook folder in a new window, it opens on the desktop to in
a minimized window. I then have to click it to maximize it. It used to open
in a maximized window and started acting differently a few weeks ago. I have
not been able to find the setting that opens the new window as in a maximized
view. Can someone please help me out with this.
