Open PowerPoint 2007 in MAC PowerPoint 2004?

Is there any way to open a presentation created on a PC in PowerPoint 2007 on
a MAC running PowerPoint 2004? Is there "save as" option in PP 2007 to save
the file in an older version that can be read by the MAC 2004?

Microsoft announced a compatibility pack for the Mac version of PPT, but as
far as I know, it has not been published yet. What you can do, is save the
presentation in the (old) 97-2003 format *.ppt using PPT 2007 on the PC. The
Mac should be able to display this. (Though it will not show some features
like animation paths.)
