Problem: PC was reformatted. Outlook Express Folders were saved in pst file
and placed into "My Documents". Please ... step by step, how do I get them
back? I have been working on this for 8 days and going crazy!! I see the file
in 'my documents' ... What do I do with it now????

Thank you, the side explains things well ... however, I do fine all the way
to step 5 in Recovery/Inport. "Select Folder to import from" ???? The Box
shows 'Recovered Personal Folder" and a folder with the same name appears in
the drop box of Outlook Today. But when I push 'finish' the folder
disappears. I have tried countless times ... to the same results. Forever
grateful for any more ideas!!!

Dont Import; Within OL File>Open>Data File and browse to the location (My
Documents I believe you said)

Thank you so much ... finally, finally the pst. file made it into the
recovery folder. Next problem, ... it displays: "Unable to display the
folder. The requested information store could not be found in the active
profile." ... Once again, what does this mean? Thank you for your patience!!!

Recovery folder?
Did you, within OL , File>Open>Data File and browse to location?
If you did the above and it doesnt open/gives an err msg then whatever
process you used to backup/copy the pst may have corrupted it.
You can try and run the repair tool, scanpst.exe, on the pst and see if it
can repair.
