Open & repair didn't fix my excel file?!

Hi,

I have made some changes to an excel (2002) file, then saved, then closed
excel then shut down my pc, the next day i tried to open my file, it didn't
open, then when I used the repair option, it gave me a file way diffierent
from the one I have saved with only cells and data, no lines, boxes, or even
same cell width and hight, is there any way to restore my file?
