Hello,
On our nt4 domain, win98 clients and office 2000 there's a delay of
ab. 15 sec. after saving or opening a file in the root of a mapped
network drive. This occurs only with office programs, others like
wordpad or notepad are not affected. It also doesn't occur when
- saving/opening in subdirs on the network drive
- saving/opening via unc path
- on the w2k clients in our net
So I'm wondering if it is a specific (network-)problem of w98, o2k and
nt server.
During the delay there is no cursor visible or available. Office
programs like Word seems to be frozen.
Couldn't find anything in kb or groups. Any hints?
Thanks.
Martin
