Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel In Word2003 on the PC, I am able to open a second window of the same open document by going under "Window > New Window".. . . Very straightforward. . . . The syntax of the window titles would be "Document.doc:1" and "Document.doc:2".
In Word2004 on the Mac, I used to be able to do the same thing but, after much searching, through an entirely different approach.
I last used this strategy to work with large documents a number of months ago and, when I went to go to do the same thing this, for the life of me, I have not been able to find the method to do this. After spending more than two hours, I was hoping someone out there might know how to do this and, perhaps, add it as a ?macro or button onto a toolbar.
Thx so much for anyone who happens to know. . . . . I know it'll probably be so straightforward that I'll kick myself when I see the answer. . . ;-)
