Open without Add-ins?

Is there a way to open Excel without all the Add-Ins loading, too?
Sometimes I just want to work on the file without clogging memory and such
with all these background programs I won;t need at that time.

Dunno. Interesting results when you run XL with Shift held down tho'.

You could setup a shortcut that uses the /automation switch: "Excel.exe
/automation". It loads nothing however, including your Personal.xls, if you
have one. If that's a problem you could try loading it from the command
line: "Excel.exe /automation c:\PathToPersonal\Personal.xls"
