Open Word attachment

Dear all,

Everytime, I open word doc attachment in the outlook. It open into reading
layout. How to set it to
normal layout everytime when I open the word doc attachment.
I think it should be the default setting but I don't find it in the tools or
menu bar.
However, it is normal to open word document in the documents folder.
Any help is needed from you. Please help!!!

Dear all,

I tried one thing but still no use.
Firstly I suspect it is the printer setup problem. I changed the default
printer paper size to be A4, but no use.
Secondly, I choose File\Page Setup\Define Print Styles in outlook, then set
the table and meno paper size to be A4. But No use.

Any help is needed.

Dear all,

One thing I find is very strange.
When I open the word doc attachment in outlook, it open into reading layout.
When I close the reading layout by clicking the "close" button on the menu.
It goes into normal layout.
It seems that it open two layout at the same time.
Am I correct?

Any help is needed as it has been lasted for a long time since outlook 2003
opened.

Dear all,

I have solved by doing the following setting.

(1) Open Word
(2) in the menu bar choose tools-->Options
(3) choose "General Tab"
(4) uncheck "Allow starting in reading layout"
