OpenCurrentDatabase Method problem

I am using the example in Visual Basic Help in Access XP
to open databeses from the current database. It works
fine except for this problem: The settings for confirm
record changes, deletions, and action queries no longer
apply to the databases opened in this way. Any ideas?
