Have 2 desktops and 1 laptop on a wireless network and share 5 AC2000
databases. I can open any 4 of the 5 from any location. All users are
Admin. One database is split and a copy of the frontend is on each
workstation and the backend is on my workstation.
this setup has worked for at least a year or so but recently I get the message
"..jet ...can not open the file ( my backend). It is already opened
exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view it's data"
when I try to use 'linked table manager' .
When I map to the drive that holds the backend and try to open it by double
clicking nothing happens - no error no nothing.
I have checked and the db options show the db is opened 'shared'.
What is going on??
any and all help is appreciated
