I am running XP Pro SP3, Office 2003
Until about 10 days ago, opening a 2007 document that was an attachment to a
email in Outlook was not an issue. The application (say Word) would start to
load, the Converter would kick in, and the document will be displayed.
What happens now is that on double-clicking, the application opens a Save
dialog box and pops up a window with the words "The system cannot find the
file specified". It is as though it is now trying to find the file on my PC
instead of loading the attached file.
If I save the file (File/ Save Attachemnts) and then open it, there are no
problems, it appears to only be an issue when it is an attachment.
Help!
