Opening a damaged database

Guest

I have been developing a MS Access 2000 database and I
made a programming error and the file locked up. Now I
cannot access it. The message says file needs to be
repaired. It tries but fails. When I go to the Database
Compact and Repair it also fails. I've downloaded the Jet
Compact Utility but it also fails.

Obviously I have not done as good a job with backups as I
should.

Is there any way to get access to and import tables,
forms, etc. Currently, I can't even view them.

For more information on corruption including possible causes,
determining the offending PC, retrieving your data, links, official MS
KB articles and a list of vendors who state they can fix corruption
