Opening a database in a form view

A

Angus

I have a database of 2000+ clients with several forms to
update that database -- the dates I work for clients each
month; receipts information in payment for the work I do;
etc. The original database was created in Symantec's Q&A
database program. Because Q&A is no longer supported in
a Windows format I have now transferred the database to
Access. In the old Q&A program I could select a record
in datasheet view and open it into any of the forms
attached to that database. Once opened in that form, I
could then select any of the other forms and the record
would be seen in those forms also. How can I accomplish
the same thing in Access. I don't know how to open the
datasheet of the main database into a form, and it
appears that each form has its own datasheet view with no
linkage between that view and the datasheet views of
other forms. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you thought about "why" you want to do this? You can switch views
between various form display modes.
