Opening a .doc file in Word 2007

I cannot open a .doc file in word 2007 but I am able to open the same file on
another computer running Word 2003. Aside from this perticular file I have no
issue with opening other .doc files in Word 2007. Did not have this issue
untill I started running Windows 7. The file in question was saved in 97 -
2003 format.
