Opening a document I don't have...

Is there any way for a computer with Word in which a
document WAS opened from a floppy disk to somehow reach
into its memory and view it without the disk?

Quite important, as the assignment took quite some time
and I formatted and erased the original, thinking my
project leader had the disk, but he lost it. (But he had
opened it on his computer)
