Opening a file

If I am not sure of the exact file name to open, Windows
2002 does not seem to help.

In Windows 97 if I had, for example, 5 files with the
word "rick" in them, when I went to File -- Open and
typed the word "Rick", all the document names containing
that word were shown on the documents list.

In Windows 2002, if I do the same thing (i.e. just type
the work "Rick" when I am opening a file) it just fills
in a single document name beginning with the word "Rick"
(but does not, however, show me a list of all documents
containing the word "rick").

I found the old feature in word 97 very, very helpful and
am frustated with the new "improved" word 2002. Can
anyone help?

Hi R.,

Type Rick*.* then press ENTER

I have the same opinion...why can't we have the same
feature with Windows 2000 and above??? Is there any way to
set up this feature in windows 2000?? Thank you! Patsy
