Opening a folder using followhyperlink

Good Day!!!

I am using the FollowHyperlink function to open a folder, and that works
great, but it opens the folder with the 'Folders' option open on the left. I
am working with a extremely novice user group on this one, and i want this to
be as streamed lined as possible, and that view may confuse some of them. is
there any way i can prevent this from happening? or even another method to
open a folder that allows me to specify a path?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
