We are running into a permissions problem while opening an InfoPath form
published to a website. It appears (from the web server logs and using a
packet tracer) that InfoPath is, upon opening the form, attempting to request
the same form again 2-3 times using FrontPage. The problem is that the
request via FrontPage fails, and will always fail because we are not giving
the users FrontPage access of any kind. When the request is made the user is
prompted for credentials, but hitting cancel to ignore the requests allows
the form to be filled out and sumitted anyway.
What is going on here, and is there are way to work around this short of
publishing the form to a network share (which was my solution in out
Intranet, but is not an option for our Internet site)?
Cheers!
