Opening a MSN Explorer window from Outlook Express links

G

Geoff02365

How do I get the links in messages received in Outlook Express to open a MSN
Explorer window instead of an Internet Explorer window? I use MSN Explorer
almost always, and would prefer that all links open MSN Explorer windows
instead of an Internet Explorer window, which seems to take much more time.
Thanks,
Geoff

JoAnn...It does exist, but it is old. In fact according to the URL it isn't
viable on Windows XP or Vista. Maybe the poster needs to change his
associations.

Correct - It does exist and is supported by MSN. I'm currently using the
following version:
MSN Premium
MSN Explorer
Version: 9.50.0039.1900

I've used it for years, and find it to be faster and use less processor
memory in my systems than Explorer, which is why I use it more.

Is there anyony out there that has knowledge of this and can provide an
answer? It would be MOST appreciated.

Thank you,
Geoff

Have you looked at your file associations? They may have been broken.
Right-click the files you would like to be opened by MSN, properties, opens
with...change.

That's why I've never heard of it. I think old is putting it mildly.

If IE is too slow, try Opera or Firefox.

I suggest you investigate this, before you comment further, (insert more of
your foot). Not only is this current, but New versions of MSN Explorer are
released about every 4-6 months, and are used by All Verizon customers as MSN
Premium services.

This is not just with files. Any link that appears in an email that is
clicked, regardless of the source, opens an Internet Explorer window, instead
of an MSN Explorer window. Any ideas?

Geoff, I suggest you try the support on the MSN web site or perhaps the
