opening a .pub

I just received a poster from a friend via email, the extension is .pub. I
have winXP with all the updates avaliable but can't figure out what I need to
open this file. I don't want to buy a program just to open this dang thing,
where can I go to download something that will work for me. I have the Works
Suite office thing.

It is a Microsoft Publisher file. You need to have the program purchased
and installed in order to read it.
