Opening a report - specific criteria

My apologies if this doesn't make any sense but I am new
to Access and don't always know the right terminology.

I have created a report that when someone runs it, they
have to chose which product in our product line they
would like to see. The report will then show them all of
the products that compete against that product. Right now
the report just runs and shows you all the products
(grouped) that compete against each of our products. I
have no idea how to do this.

Is your report based on a query or on the table of
products? To limit the report you need to base it on a
query with the criteria set create the limit you want.
Without knowing the fields in your database I can't give
you any more information than that.
