opening a shared calendar

I have created a calendar that I would like to share with only the people in
my region , not the entire network. I have set the permissions for each
person, but I don't know how to send the calendar to them. How can that be
done? It is appearing as a subfolder to my personal calendar. Is there a
better place to put it if I don't want to share them both? Also, once they
open the calendar will it show up in their folders list?
