Opening a Visio Drawing

Situation:
1. I saved changes to a Visio Drawing
2. Quit Visio
3. I open Visio
4. I try to open the drawing (which still says it's a
Visio Drawing in the properties)

Result:
Error message says that it is not a Visio file.

Which version of Visio are you running? You may have encountered the
problem discussed in this article. If so, install the patch to prevent this
happening in the future:
