Opening a web site link

Whenever I receive an email in Outlook that has a link to click on to open a
web site in Internet Explorer, the window pops up asking me what program to
open the link with. I always check the open this and all programs like this
with Internet Explorer. But it still keeps asking what program. My question
is: Is there a setting somewhere within Outlook to just make the web site
open without asking for a program to open with? I have Outlook at work and
whenever I click a link for a website, it opens just fine. I have used the
Help feature and looked all over to find some kind of setting to change. Any
help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is the dialog you get "Locate Link Browser"?
Point it to IEXPLORE.EXE.

I always check the open this and all programs like this
with Internet Explorer.

That is not an option when you get that dialog.

The issue is usually caused by your browser not being properly registered as
the default in Windows. Reset the browser and/or reassign it as the default
in Windows and try again. Depending on your version of Windows, you might
need administrative rights for this.

This is to Roady. Thank you very much!! I went in and reset for Internet Explorer to be my default browser and everything works perfectly. You solved a rather annoying problem. Thanks again for your help. This is a fix I need to remember.
