Opening a website

I have a field on my form called website which displays the url information
for that record.

I have tried to set this to hyperlink but when I click on the url a web drop
downbox is added to the top of my form.

I just want to pull up the website based on the url that is in the textbox.
I am sure this is easy but I'm not getting it.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.
