Opening ACCESS Database via Internet Secure Link

I have set a secure remote link to the company server
from home which works fine but Microsoft built in
security will not allow me to open the ACCESS data base
(DBM) on the company server. Is there a solution to fix
this so I can work live on the database from home?

Are you talking about a secure internet connection, or some direct,
high-speed cable link? If the former, I think your best approach to
this is to use Terminal Services or Citrix (neither of which I am
actually familiar with personally), so that Access is actually running
on the server. Everything I have ever read says it's a bad idea to run
Access across the internet.

Tony Toews has some tips on how to set this up:

The connection is the standard VPN secured internet link
as part of the Wizard. It is fine for opening Word
documents, PowerPoint etc. I will look at the site you
suggest thanks.
