Trying to get help on the following error I am receiving:
I am not able to open an Access database from outside the
program (i.e. I double-click on a .mdb database). When I
try to do so I get the following: "Trying to load SR-1
Disc 2..." Then it has trouble finding the load and
instead of allowing me to point to the disk, I get an
error 1706. No valid source could be found. It states
that the file has no association with a program and closes
out. If I try to load from within Access, I have no
trouble loading the file.
It seems to be a Windows problem with associating .mdb's
with Access, but I can not find the solution.
Specs:
Running Windows 2000, with Office 2000 Professional
Standard SR-1 upgraded to SR-3.
