Opening Access from Lotus Notes

I am trying to send a link to my database through Lotus
Notes so that the user can open the db directly from the
email. I can't get the db to open like this. It will
sart to open and then a screen saying "Action Cancelled"
appears. Is it possible to open directly from Lotus Notes?
