Opening Access on a Peer to Peer network

We have a database which lives on one of our systems. How can multiple
people access this database at the same time? For instance: If one person
needs to look up something in the database, while another needs to enter
information. We have placed the database in the system's shared doc's
folder, we've changed some configuration to Access itself (I'll have to look
at it again to remember what we did!) but it still only lets one of us in at
a time.
