Opening an ftp site

I am using XP and FT2002 how can I open an existing non-fp
extention site?
FP won't let me open an ftp site and I can't make a link
on my network places for a ftp site.

You have to use a FTP application.

FP can only open sites that have the FP extensions installed, however FP can
publish to non-FP enabled web sites.
