Opening an RTF or DOC file from an Access Form command button

G

Shell "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe
c:\temp\document.rtf", vbNormalFocus

This command opens an rtf with WordPad.

In VB.NET Process.start "c:\temp\document.rtf"
Opens the file in either Word or WordPad depending upon the mapping of the
..rtf extension.

Is there a way to accomplish the same thing as Process.Start but from Access
2003.

Shell "c:\temp\document.rtf" crashes
