opening any office program starts install

Whenever a file is opened (document or access database, the program opens but
a widows says program is being installed and MSI should be run.

I reinstalled complete suite from CD but problem was not fixed.

If i open application from start>>programs, the install window does not
appear.

CD is Office 2003 pro

How can i stop this install process appearing
