Opening cil. files

When I double click the cil. file with the clipart I would like to open I
recieve this message, ( Could not create file D:\MS Works\
Downloaded\j0112420wmf. for output. ) I'm using W98 SE MS Word 97. I've yet
to download any clips from the clip gallery because of this. Is there a way
for me to resolve this problem. My D drive is not a writeable drive. If that
means anything. I always have to config the artgalry first to get into clip
gallery 3.0. Help me if you can or lead me in some direction for help.

Compact your Gallery... Right-click any image in the catalog, click recover. Empty
your temp cache, in IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.

Thanks for you help. I'm working with the troubleshooting tips part 1 and 2.
Progress is slow but so am I when it comes to this part of resolving
computer errors. Hopefully I'll be able to solve it.
