Opening/Converting Word Perfect Files to Word?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel How do I do it?

I have an officemate who uses Word Perfect for a PC. He is very willing to share documents with me, and I hate recreating the wheel, but I cannot open the files.

Isn't there a converter? I have searched and can't find any. I would love a suggestion.

You've missed MacLink Plus

But tell him to save them as .docx, then both of you can open them (WP 4
opens and saves .docx...)
