I have a problem that has presented itself due to a server upgrade. We had
XP machines with Office 2000 Pro on them and they were accessing an NT 4.0
Server. This last weekend, we upgraded the server to Win 2000 Server and
have greated a local domain using Active Directory. On a given XP machine,
we have switched ownership and permissions of all old files created with
Word before the upgrade to the new domain user. Any new file that the new
domain user creates in Word will re-open quickly in Word, but all the files
created before the upgrade open very slowly even though the permissions are
identical. Can anyone help?
