Opening E Mail Attachments II

I am repeating a previous request for help. I tried to follow directions,
but did not succeed. Please be more specific.

I recently upgraded Adobe Reader to version 9. Later I sent a message with
two Excel Files attached. As usual, I sent the message to myself. When I
tried to open the attachments I got a message saying "Adobe could not open
the Attachment because it is not a supported File type". Can you tell me how
to get around this?

Please post the directions that you could not succeed with.

Point out where you need more specifics.

Or post the message ID from your original posting.

Sounds like Adobe Reader took over the Excel file association.

Right-click on an Excel file and "Open With"

Change to Excel.
