Opening email attachments....

Hello Sir/Ma'am
I just brought this computer and I have been getting emails with attachment, but I haven't been able to open the attachment. When I try to a pop up comes up asking for the product number to the Office 2003 and this computer has Office 2004 downloaded on this. I have type in the product number on the bottom to the computer like 5 times and it still don't work. What should I do to open these emails?

Tools, options, security tab, clear "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened
that could potentially be a virus."
There is no Office 2004, the product number for Office 2003 is with your computer
documentation or on the jewel box.

Why are you typing on the bottom of your computer?

There IS an Office 2004 but it is for the Mac platform - just an FYI.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

I was typing the product key and for some reason it still did not work. I'm assuming that the product key should match if that's what's on the bottom of my computer. That code is supposed to be the product certificate, Right? Or am I looking in the wrong place.
