opening error

I am using OFFICE 2007 and when I try to open a wordperfect file in office
2007, I get:

The selected text converter is an old version which does not work with the
current version of Word. Reinstall the converter and try again.


Why should I be getting this and how does one reinstall a converter???

Word will work with a variety of old filters, some of them necessary to open
old documents, but some of these old filters present a potential security
risk and Microsoft updates strive to replace them with more recent versions
or eliminate them altogether. If you have updated an older version of Word
it is likely that old filters will remain in the shared location -
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\TextConv
The WP filter filenames are WPFT532.CNV and WPFT632.CNV. Note their file
dates.
Re-Run Office Setup from the Windows Add or Remove Programs applet and in
the Office Shared Features > Converters and Filters > Text Converters, check
the WP filters as 'Not Available' and press Continue. Allow the setup to
complete but don't close the applet yet. Check whether the two files have
been removed from the above listed folder. If they have not, move them to a
safe temporary location. Re-run setup and check the WP items as 'Run from My
Computer' and allow setup to complete. The WP filters should now be
re-installed.
