Opening Excel 2007 file with Excel Viewer 2003

I have Excel Viewer 2003. My operating system is MicroSoft XP Home. I have
always opened Excel spreadsheet attachments from e-mails with my viewer but I
now get a message saying my system can't open this version. I have learned it
was created in Excel 2007. What can I do in order to open the attachment?

Jan,
There is supposed to be an excel viewer 2007 coming out in the near
future but until then you can download and install the Microsoft Office
Compatability pack for Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2007 File formats at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...70-3ae9-4aee-8f43-c6bb74cd1466&displaylang=en
Just follow the instructions there and it will upgrade your Excel view to
read the new format. It is 27.1M so its not a small file but will allow you
to read the files you need.
