Opening Excel files - detail view

Only file name is showing. Used to display file modified/create date, size,
type. I used to be able to adjust the column width for each of these
properties (name, date, size), but somehow those other properties no longer
appear and trying to slide the scroll bar at the bottom of the display of
files. This only seems to be a problem in certain folders. Some setting is
messed up but I have no idea. It's happened before but miraculously seemed
to fix itself. :>)

When you click on the file open icon, or click File Open, where you now see
the list of files, there is a menu on top, Just to the left of Tools is one
called Viewed. Your view settings have been set to List here, so change it
back to Details, and it will be back to normal.

Hi MaryVP,

open or explore the folder and click on view (location - file-edit-view,
third from left on the top corner of the screen) and click on the details and
you will be able to see all the details.

if, still not,
click on view (location - file-edit-view, third from left on the top corner
of the screen) and click on the "choose details", ensure to check all the
items you want to view, repeat the earlier process (view-details) and you are
done.
