Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me out with a problem?
Recently I had to re-instal Windows XP Home. Since that time, when I
load Microsoft Excel 2003, the Excel page appears with the Menubar,
Toolbar, Statusbar etc immediately. However, instead of the window
showing a new spreadsheet, I see a message box entitled "Installing
components of Microsoft Excel" and a message "Installing: Microsoft
Excel feature" Then about 30 seconds later, the system is ready to be
used.
When I load Word 2003, the same thing happens ie an initial amount of
activity followed by a wait of about 30 seconds. Loading Powerpoint
2003 seems to be OK.
I have installed Windows XP again and Office 2003 but the problem is
still there.
Any ideas?
Regards, Ken Rock
