I have a stupid question. Yesterday I was moving charts
from excel to powerpoint, and during this process I got a
message saying something to th effect that Excel needed
to be repaired, asking that I insert a disk. I inserted
the "microsoft office professional 2000" disk, but the
computer apparently wanted something called the "SR-1"
disk. This problem came and went while I was using my
computer yesterday, and this morning, when I turned my
computer on, it no longer allowed me to access excel. I
can still get into powerpoint, word etc without a
problem. The message says: "The Microsoft Office 2000
professional is not a valid installation package for the
product Microsoft office 2000 SR-1 professional. Try to
find the installation package DATA1.MSI in a folder from
which you can install Microsoft office 2000 SR-1
professional." I would enormously appreciate any advice.
Thanks
