Opening files from Windows Explorer

I am running Visio Professional 2002 (10.0.525) on Windows
XP. I can open Visio and then open a file from Visio.
However, if I browse to a file in Windows Explorer and
double click on it, Visio starts up but the file does not
open. I get no error just a gray screen in Visio. HELP! I
need to able to do this because I have an Oracle
application that starts Visio and passes it the filename
to open. It works fine on Windows NT but does not work on
Windows XP.
