Office 2003 fully patched - User in Outlook receives an e-mail with JPG
files. When they double click the jpg attachment they are prompted to
OPEN/SAVE etc.. when select OPEN get a permission error, when select Save can
save to desktop and then open from desktop.
We moved the user account out of OU with 1 GPO assigned to it to a OU
without a GPO and issue went away.
The user GPO is configured to only run allowed executables but I don't see
that this is running an .exe to perform the task.
Somewhere there is a setting in the OU for Outlook 2003 that blocks this
capability to open the jpg file but still allows users to save and run it
from desktop.
Running Windows 2003 Server SP1 fully patched for the DC's.
I am unable to find this setting / Ideas?
