Opening microsoft word 2002

We have downloaded Microsoft Word on our PC but have been
unable to access it--any suggestions? We have windows 98
and a Gateway Computer

Microsoft Word cannot be downloaded from any website. It is installed using
a CD. The installation (if complete) will put shortcuts on your programs
menu to the application. I don't know what you might have downloaded --
maybe some templates or something -- but I can guarantee it was the
application.

To be sure you don't have .. do a file search for winword.exe
if you find this file -- double click it and Word should open. If you
don't -- then you don't have Microsoft Word.
