Opening multiple documents

One of our secretaries is distressed because she is
accustomed in WordPerfect to opening multiple documents
that she has located in from a search. Is there any way,
using the Search Task Pane in Word 2002 XP that one can
open more then one of the search results (documents) at
one time?

If you are in the Word dialog box, hold the CTRL key and click on as many
files as you want, then click "Open". If you are in Windows Explorer, do
the same to select multiple files, right-click one of them and select "Open"
and Word will open all of them.

Thanks Bill- but that does not answer my question. I
need to open multiple documents from the SEARCH
FACILITIES. For example, let's suppose that I am using
either the SEARCH TASK PANE or File/Open/Search. The
results offer me either double clicking on a document to
load it, in which case you only get one document and have
to run the search all over again for each additional
document that you want) or a drop down box from which I
can copy a link to that document to the clip board.
(That's all you get is a link - no document) I have 50
secretaries trying to search in Word and bring up
multiple documents - I don't want them to have to go out
to another program (i.e. explorer) just to do a search
and open more than one document. We are currently
transferring from WordPerfect to Word. Our secretaries
are distressed because they could open multiple documents
in WP but Word does not seem to allow the same facility.
