opening multiple windows that dont hide in background

i am using some stockmaster software that runs of access
but everytime i open a option the previous window does not
close down. i have reinstalled and put sp1 and sp2 for
office xp but still does the same. i have also ran
compatabilty modes on the software, the software is
compatable with xp anyone that can help is much
appreciated.

This may be the "designed behavior" of this piece of software. Often, in an
Access database, one opens a new form or report from a previous form. Data
on the original form may be required for use in the new form or report,
requiring that the original form remain open. However, that having been
said, you may wish to consult with the technical support staff of the
manufacturer of that piece of software.
