Hi all,
I created a new MDW file for experiment purposes for a
test database. The MDW file is stored at a different
location than the SYSTEM.MDW file. I also created a
shortcut of this test database, pointing to this new MDW
file.
However, now when I attempt open any other non-secured
database from my own machine, I receive the User
Authentication dialog box, prompting for User Name and
Password. I can use the User Name and Password setup just
for the test database to login at this dialog box.
Obviously, Access Xp must be confused as to which MDW file
to use (the test MDW file or SYSTEM.MDW).
Question: how can I reset the whole thing so that the test
database uses the test MDW file and all other non-secured
database use the default SYSTEM.MDW file?
Thanks for your help.
