Here's an odd problem I've been having on my company laptop;
Any Office software such as Word, Exel, etc. opens up instantly, from
there I can open any assosiated file quickly and painlessly. However,
If I try to open up a file assosiated with office directly (by double
clicking on the document itself), it takes minutes to load. During the
majority of the loading process, the hard drive is inactive. I've tried
the Word recover and repair utility, as well as the "winword /r"
command, with no success.
I'd appreciate any fixes or suggestions.
