Opening Old Files

I have a number of files created with old versions of Office for Mac.
(1.X, etc.). I can't open them with Office X. Any ideaas how to open
the files without going back to version 1.X on another computer. Thanks

Unfortunately, the only way I know to recover XL1.x is to run XL1/XL2 or
perhaps XL3 on old machines. MacLinkPlus Deluxe doesn't support XL1.
